Food Drive

Los Cerritos and the PTA are partnering with several schools and community organizations to host a food drive. If you’d like to pick up a bag of food staples for your pantry, stop into the front office at the Los Cerritos campus and ask for a grab-and-go bag.

If you have extra shelf-stable items in your pantry that you’d like to donate, please bring them to the office or send them with your child to school.

Toy Drive

The fire department has offered to help families provide toys for the holidays. Here is how you can get on the list:

• Email your child’s teacher to let them know you would like help providing something for your child this holiday season. Include your child’s name and a toy you think they’d like. The fire department doesn’t guarantee that all requests will be fulfilled, but they have said the earlier you submit the request, the more likely you are to get help.

• The teacher will relay the message, and you will be added to the list.
